Maintenance Technician

1. SLC Pool Service is looking for Pool Maintenance Technicians and Service & Repair Technicians to join our growing team.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine service calls (weekly/bi-weekly/etc.) on swimming pools and spas
  • Maintain client swimming pools including cleaning pools and chemical analysis & balance
  • Test & record chemical readings and add more as needed (this will all be covered in training). Understanding of basic water chemistry, filter cleanings, backwashing, algae treatments, and customer service is a plus - This is not required because we will have you complete the Certified Pool Operator (CPO) course.
  • Vacuuming, brushing of sidewalls, cleaning pump and skimmer baskets, etc.
  • Check on pool equipment and report any issues with the operation of the equipment to the service team
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Log all service with company mobile app
  • Plumbing,
  • Most importantly - have Fun!
Requirements
  • 18 or older – Must have valid driver’s license, good driving record, and be able to pass a background check and DMV check
  • Employee will drive a company vehicle
  • Ability to use smartphone and email
  • Physical Activity Required on the Job:
    • Employee must be able to lift and/or move 50-100 pounds
    • Be able to have degree of strength, flexibility, and agility to perform the Job
  • Conditions may require working in difficult outdoor weather, maneuvering in limited space
  • CPO Certification is a plus - Again now worries we will provide all training
